Bernard A. Smyle M.D. is a California licensed physician, providing Medical Marijuana evaluations for the last two years and joined up with CannaMed in January 2011. Dr. Smyle was born in Passaic, New Jersey attending Brandeis University in Massachusetts. After this, he went to the New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey where he earned my M.D. degree in 1983. Dr. Smyle did a pediatric residency from 1983 until 1986 at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey affiliated hospitals. He then served in the Army Medical Corps at Fort Hood, Texas from 1986 to 1990, rising to the rank of major. Dr. Smyle was in primary care practice from 1990 to 2008 in Ventura; CA. Dr. Smyle’s hobbies include bicycling, reading, hiking and loves going to dodger games. His primary place of practice for CannaMed is at 225 E. Carrillo Street Suite 303 Santa Barbara, CA 93101. He loves being able to bring the great benefits of medical Marijuana to his patients suffering with a variety of chronic conditions including migraines, cancer, neuropathy and other ailments.
